Coherence Analyser
Measures how far a beam travels before it forgets itself.
Every source has a distance beyond which its own waves no longer agree. The CA-2 walks a delay arm out to forty metres and watches the fringe contrast collapse. The point of collapse is the coherence length, and it tells you more about a laser than its datasheet does.
